Why not remove skills at all an just hit people with a stick?
Hm... yeah, the same stick for all!
People will take turns to use the stick.

Elite skills are usually 'empowered' versions of two or more skills.
So we'll end up with a lot of duplicate skills.

Back at A.net headquarters, some dumb intern will read that and take it seriously.
Hmmm...
GW2 is going to be a first person shooter. You heard it here first

No skills!
Have some of the existing spells apply when you hit your target!

I think we really need some kind of new content here, seing how dumb the suggestions become

Search for elites loses it's appeal due to PvP characters(faction and unlock). Even if this is a skill based rpg, people running the same elites/builds won't be better simply because of that.
You see, the true problem is not the Elites, but Wiki, mainly PvX Wiki of course, that leads to people all running the same thing. Removing, or bumming down, the elites will do nothing to fix the use of sharing builds.

Not to be mean, but your suggestion is VERY POORLY THOUGHT OUT. Please, think a bit more before posting suggestions. This goes to all Guru users.
